Backwash.com, inc. is a Boston, Massachusetts based company that grew out of a personal project of founder David Ring, who received his education from the University of Chicago and NYU Graduate School of Film. It was originally founded August 1997, incorporated February 2000 and officially relaunched in its current format on October 1, 2000.

We are privately held and are not backed by Venture Capital nor any outside angel investors. We openly welcome inquiries for partnerships, development deals and/or investment, particularly from individuals and companies in leadership positions in media and/or the Internet.
